Sean O’Malley isn’t bought on Cody Garbrandt staying enthusiastic at the believed of fighting him.
O’Malley and Garbrandt have been exchanging terms back again and forth since the summary of UFC 250. The two males ended up in individual bouts on the card and every earned impressive knockout wins. O’Malley stiffened Eddie Wineland, though Garbrandt iced Raphael Assuncao. Both equally adult men gained general performance bonuses.
Sean O’Malley Does not Consider Cody Garbrandt Would like To Battle Him
O’Malley spoke to MMAFighting and expressed his belief that “No Love” does not truly want to share the Octagon with him.
“I never feel he would like to struggle me,” O’Malley told MMA Combating when requested about Garbrandt. “I may well be a little biased … I don’t imagine Cody desires to fight me.
“I think he sees that fight, I’m extensive, I’m tall, I’m correct, I throw straight punches, he throws hooks. He’s 5’3.” I’m 6’4.” He really do not want that combat.”
Garbrandt exposed options to go down to the flyweight division to challenge champion Deiveson Figueiredo. UFC president Dana White confirmed the title bout and it is scheduled for UFC 255 on Nov. 21. Also set for the card is a women’s flyweight title bout between winner Valentina Shevchenko and Jennifer Maia.
As for O’Malley, he’s established to collide with Marlon Vera on Aug. 15 at UFC 252. Several concur that this is the “Sugar” show’s hardest exam to date. O’Malley claims it is for this reason that he requested for the combat with Vera. He argues that Vera has been robbed of fights that would’ve put him in the prime 15 bantamweight rankings.
