Longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) referee Mario Yamasaki will be producing his return to officiating in 2021, just as before long as he’s carried out brushing up on all the updated rules and laws from California State Athletic Fee (CSAC).
Which is according to his dialogue with MMA Fighting.
“I’m waiting around for the pandemic to be above so I can start off implementing to the athletic commissions yet again,” Yamasaki reported. “I’ll go again to refereeing as quickly as achievable. Probably not in the UFC, but Bellator, PFL, Shooto, other promotions, so I can be in the sport. It will be up to the athletic commissions to acknowledge me again and license me and begin providing me fights to referee.”
Yamasaki was previous noticed directing the Shevchenko-Cachoeira snuff movie in Belem.
UFC President Dana White, no stranger to bashing accredited referees (like this man), has been specially vocal about his disdain for Yamasaki, even banning the longtime gentleman in black from all potential gatherings.
