UFC vet and Invicta contender Pearl Gonzalez announced on social media that she has her sights set on the strawweight strap.
Gonzalez (10-5) will be moving back down to 115-pounds following a 3-2 run as flyweight in Invicta. Prior to signing with Invicta, she competed in the UFC’s strawweight division.
“The Chi-Town Princess” made the announcement on Instagram.

I’m so motivated, driven and focused right now. This was my first fight with @invictafc and last fight at 115. I’m so grateful for this journey.
@shanknapp thank you for allowing me to share my passion with the world, inside your cage. There is NOTHING I want more than to be your CHAMPION!!
I’d like it to be known that I’m dropping back down and coming for that #strawweight strap!!
