Matt Brown didn’t like the way his battle was scored Saturday.
The longtime UFC fighter assumed he did more than enough to outpoint Carlos Condit in the UFC on ABC 1 co-primary event in Abu Dhabi. Brown (22-18 MMA, 15-12 UFC) lost a unanimous determination to Condit with 30-27 scores on all 3 judges’ scorecards.
Brown mentioned he thought it was a close combat and at the really least thinks the scoring should’ve reflected that, even if the conclusion result would’ve been the same.
“30-27 is ridiculous,” Brown wrote on Twitter. “I gained the initial spherical 100% he gained the second for confident and the 3rd is genuinely close but I ended on prime. Should really have acquired the choice imo (in my opinion) but if he acquired it centered on just the third round I wouldn’t be mad. (explicit) judges.
“Thanks for all the appreciate and assistance (and the occasional loathe) I’m continue to getting improved and more powerful each day and I will master and mature from this! Hope you all liked the demonstrate!”
30-27 is preposterous. I gained the initially round 100% he received the 2nd for absolutely sure and the 3rd is really close but I ended on major. Ought to have bought the conclusion imo but if he obtained it primarily based on just the third round I wouldn’t be mad. Fucking judges

Brown did have a excellent initial spherical and managed to continue to be on top for a superior part of the spherical when landing ground and pound on Condit.
The 40-12 months-previous competitor is now on a two-fight getting rid of skid immediately after a two-struggle successful streak.
