Moraes was in fact set to struggle Yan in the major celebration of UFC Kazakhstan, but that card was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Yan ended up becoming re-booked from Aldo as a substitute, while Moraes continues to sit on the sidelines and await his following reserving.
Moraes has a 5-2 record in the UFC like stoppage wins above Sterling, Raphael Assuncao, and Jimmie Rivera, in addition decision wins about Aldo and John Dodson. His only losses arrived against previous champ Henry Cejudo and Assuncao. As for Sterling, he’s 11-3 over-all in the UFC and is on a five-struggle win streak.
