UFC middleweight prospect Khamzat Chimaev states that he will “kill” the “chicken” Gerald Meerschaert this Saturday night time at UFC Vegas 11.
Chimaev was the star of UFC Combat Island in July with his vicious stoppage wins above Rhys McKee and John Phillips. The UFC matchmakers are incredibly large on Chimaev and have by now booked him for his subsequent two fights. The Swede usually takes on Meerschaert this weekend at UFC Vegas 11 and then fights yet again in November against veteran Demian Maia at welterweight, major Meerschaert to say he feels “disrespected.”
Talking to the media ahead of UFC Vegas 11, Chimaev spoke about his opponent Meerschaert, and he didn’t mince his words and phrases. The youthful phenom named Meerschaert a “chicken” and suggests he designs to “kill” his opponent in the Octagon this weekend.
“I never know why he’s disrespected. Beginner boxing persons go with 5 or 6 fights. I go fight listed here and now just after a single thirty day period, but I did in 10 days two fights. I really do not know why he feels like this,” Chimaev explained (by using MMAjunkie.com). “He speaks also much, he talks much too substantially. He say, ‘You disrespect me.’ I did not like that. I said, ‘I’m going to smash you, hen.’ And he say nothing and I go from there.
“I’m better in all places. I’m greater wrestling, I’m improved grappling. I’m greater in putting. No a person going to quit me. … I really don’t know what is going to transpire on Saturday night, but I’m going to go 100 % to destroy this male. That’s what I know. With anything to end him.’”
It is undoubtedly fascinating that the UFC booked Chimaev for two fights, which is anything the promotion doesn’t do that frequently, but evidently the UFC matchmakers like him. In the long run, it’s up to Chimaev to go into the Octagon and get the occupation carried out, but Meerschaert won’t be an quick out, making this a remarkably-intriguing grudge match.
