Josh Thomson sympathizes with Diego Sanchez as he promises ‘The Nightmare’ will not be receiving a reply from Dana White and the UFC.
Earlier this 7 days news broke that Sanchez (30-13 MMA) had not only been pulled from his slated May perhaps 8 bout with Donald Cerrone but also gained his going for walks papers from the worlds leading blended martial arts marketing.
According to the report, Diego Sanchez acquired his total combat purse, win bonus and clothing fork out from UFC officials, this in spite of the proposed bout with ‘Cowboy’ staying scratched.
UFC President Dana White instructed that Sanchez’s release was a final result of the actions of his “creepy weirdo” supervisor Josh Fabia.
“I have an amazing, wonderful romance with Diego and I like him very much and I hope he is Alright,” Dana White informed Yahoo Sports. “One of the sad things that transpires, not just in preventing but in athletics, and I want you to quote me on this, are these creepy weirdos who appear from God is aware exactly where and leech onto fighters or athletes. They in no way do any great for them.”
In accordance to Diego Sanchez, his partnership with the UFC turned bitter soon after Joshua Fabia asked advertising officers to supply the former TUF 1 winners professional medical documents. That request evidently lifted pink flags with UFC executives Sean Shelby and Hunter Campbell, and the announcement of Diego’s release shortly followed.
“Why, when this has currently been performed, do I have to state this, condition that?” Sanchez reported. “Yeah, my manager did ask for my record of medicals from all over my profession. I’ve experienced a large amount of injuries. I want to have my background. This is my medical background. I want to have it on file. I want to have what the UFC has. It’s my health care wellbeing, suitable? And as considerably as I’m anxious, I really do not truly feel like, just after I’m performed, if (UFC president) Dana White won’t reply my calls now, won’t permit me have a conference now, the moment I’m done and I’m out of the UFC, do you feel I’m gonna be capable to get a maintain of any one? Do you assume anything’s gonna go as a result of? No, nothing’s gonna go by way of. I’m in no way gonna get sh*t from them.”
Previous MMA winner Josh Thomson not only sympathizes with Diego Sanchez, but also agrees with ‘The Nightmare’ that he will never be listening to from Dana White and the UFC yet again.
‘The Punk’ talked about Sanchez’s launch in the course of the most recent episode of his “Weighing In” podcast with John McCarthy.
“I truly feel for Diego. I want everything to be excellent for Diego. Alright and Diego would make some really superior details. The UFC, because it is like we’ve talked about just before, the UFC is not gonna reply to him.” Thomson explained. “We have talked about it with what is his name… Spencer Fisher. Similar thing, like they (the UFC) just prevent picking up your calls. They are not heading to select up your calls. Their medical doctors are not going to remedy your calls anymore. You’re not a current fighter. There is no relationship anymore. And so that is the one thing, that if we are at any time going to do a union for, it is for this.”
Josh Thomson discussed:
“Now you are likely to start out seeing some of these fighters, especially the best ones that have been all around for a very long time, they are heading to want to be capable to arrive back and get some form of medical assistance for anything that is heading on with them, and it is not likely to occur. So when we speak about like the Ali Act, I could give two shits about the Ali Act, I care far more about let’s get some type of coverage fund for the fighters for after.”
