*Disclaimer – these food items & supplements are not proof-dependent, in that – with the doable exception of vitamin C, they haven’t been proven to take care of COVID-19.
Having said that, I think it is misleading in a sense to say there’s no evidence for any nutritional supplements to enable protect against or treat COVID-19.
In scenarios like these, where there is extremely minimal quantities of analysis to contact on (nobody’s likely to fund thousands and thousands to check the potency of low-cost vitamin supplements) you should use a distinct sort of reasoning – I imagine it is known as Bayesian reasoning but a could be erroneous – get what you know and see if in all liklihood it could be utilized in this situation.
Also glance at the chance to reward ratio – what’s the possibility of having a food stuff or health supplement Vs what is the reward. So getting vitamin C at substantial doses, may well at worst, make you really feel ill but if it probably allows enhance your immune system then amazing – great trade off. Even so the Wonder Mineral complement that is mentioned to have a bleaching agent – it seems like which is not well worth the threat!
