UFC President Dana White and U.S. President Donald Trump are pleading with the Iranian govt, inquiring them not to execute Iranian champion wrestler Navid Afkari.
The 27-12 months-previous wrestler has been sentenced to death in Iran. The Iranian federal government statements that he murdered a safety guard for the duration of protests in 2018. Afkari, his lawyers, and relatives say that he was peacefully protesting and that he confessed to the murder only less than intense torture by authorities.
