Colby Covington suggests he will wait around right up until September to get the prospect to retire Tyron Woodley
On Wednesday evening, Covington posted a signed bout settlement to battle Woodley on August 22. Yet, “The Chosen One” says he is not completely ready to combat in August but he stated he would be fantastic fighting “Chaos” in September or Oct.
Now, Covington suggests Woodley is at the time all over again ducking him but he is good waiting around right until September to battle him.
“All that sh-t that Tyron’s talked, he’s not getting off simple,” Covington reported to MMA Junkie. “He’s going to have to occur and maintain himself accountable for all the items he said, so each time Tyron’s completely ready. I’ll be completely ready in August, but if he has to drive it back to September, then we can do it in September, but he’s not finding out the straightforward way. I know he desires to present up and be the large brother and conserve his minimal brother ‘Street Judas’ Masvidal since ‘Street Judas’ Masvidal is by now ducking and diving and searching for any way close to not to fight me.
“Send out major brother Tyron ‘Tyquil’ Woodley, and I’ll retire him. Just like I reported, I have been saying this for several years, I’m going to be the a single to retire Tyron Woodley, and here it is. When he signals up, when he reveals up in that octagon and we settle it off, he will get retired, I guarantee you that.”
Colby Covington has not fought because he experienced a fifth-round TKO decline to Kamaru Usman again at UFC 245. Woodley, meanwhile, is on a two-combat getting rid of skid the place past time out he acquired dominated by Gilbert Burns.
